Brazil Agrishow 2024 makes worth R$13.608 Bn business deals, provides better customer experience

Ribeirão Preto (SP), Brazil: The 29th edition of Agrishow, organised by ABIMAQ and ApexBrasil at Ribeirão Preto which ended on May 3rd, once again reached a record volume of R$ 13.608 billion (US$ 2.64 billion) in business intentions specifically for agricultural machinery and implements. The growth was 2.4 per cent, compared to the 2023 edition when the number of R$13.290 billion (US$ 2.58 billion) was recorded.

Regarding visitors, the number remained equivalent to the previous year. With approximately 195,000 paid visitors, the fair featured rural producers from small, medium and large properties from all regions of the country, as well as abroad.

“The mobility and infrastructure of the fair were some of the highlights, which allowed visitors a better experience, especially for those involved in family farming – the public to which a large part of the growth of Agrishow 2024 was attributed”, said, João Marchesan, president of Agrishow.

Even though the scenario was not the most favourable for the sector, the return of rural producers and expectations from the fair were exceeded, despite factors such as the weather, high interest rates and lack of controlled resources. “We kept visitors and increased business intentions. And we hope that next year Brazilian agribusiness will be even stronger and more vibrant,” Marchesan added.

The Brazil Agrishow 2024 is an initiative of the main agribusiness entities in Brazil; Abag – Brazilian Agribusiness Association, ABIMAQ – Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Industry, Anda – National Association for the Diffusion of Fertilizers, FAESP – Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Estado de São Paulo and SRB – Sociedade Rural Brasileira, and is organised by Informa Markets, part of the Informa Group, one of the largest publicly traded promoters of fairs, conferences and training in the world. In 2025, Agrishow will take place between April 28th and May 2nd, the organisers informed.
