Aquaconnect becomes first Indian fisheries startup to get ISO 27001 for information security management

Fisheries startup and a technology-driven full-stack aquaculture inputs and outputs platform with embedded fintech and supported by a phygital distribution network, Chennai-based, Aquaconnect, has received the ISO 27001 certification for information security management. The certification comes on the back of an ISMS (Information Security Management System) implementation which makes Aquaconnect the first Indian fisheries startup to earn this recognition.

“We are witnessing a gradual shift towards data-driven farming in aquaculture and therefore we believe it is important to implement protection mechanisms at the grassroots.
