CLAAS India celebrated achievement of the milestone of 10,000 CROP TIGER combine harvesters manufacturing in India

Bengaluru, India: In a ground-breaking moment, CLAAS India, a 100 percent subsidiary of German agri-machinery conglomerate CLAAS KGaA, celebrated achievement of the milestone of 10,000 CROP TIGER combine harvesters manufacturing in India. To commemorate the landmark occasion, the limited edition of 10,000 CROP TIGER series was showcased on a virtual platform and also webcast live on Facebook and YouTube.

At the opening of the event, Cathrina Claas-Muehlhaeuser, the chairwoman of CLAAS Shareholders Committee said that CROP TIGER had been one of the many success stories for CLAAS globally. “We treat our employees, suppliers, dealers, importers and customers as an integral part of the family. I would like to congratulate them for achieving this milestone and entrusting their faith in the CLAAS brand,” she added..

With the launch of the CROP TIGER combine harvester in 1992, CLAAS successfully established itself as the leader in harvesting technology in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. The machine’s unique Tangential Axial Flow threshing mechanism delighted farmers with very clean grain output and low grain losses.

In the last three decades, CROP TGER has become a benchmark in terms of performance, reliability and easy operation. Low maintenance and unmatchable after sales support system through a large network of dealers and importers in these south Asian countries.

The continual product upgrades by investment in R&D and manufacturing technology have kept the CROP TIGER a favourite household name in Indian farming community.

Highlighting the CROP TIGER and its significance for the consumers, Mrityunjaya Singh, Managing Director, CLAAS Agricultural Machinery said, “CROP TIGER is not just a machine.
