New Delhi: Crystal Crop Protection, a leading agrochemical manufacturer, has launched Proclaim XTRA, its latest insecticide specifically formulated for maize and soybean. Proclaim XTRA protects crops against various caterpillars, particularly Spodoptera spp. like the Fall Armyworm. This protection ensures prolonged crop safety and helps farmers maximise yields throughout the crop cycle. With this solution, farmers can enhance crop health and productivity, ultimately boosting the success and sustainability of their produce, the company said today.
“Proclaim XTRA, a contact, systemic, and translaminar insecticide, paralyses and kills caterpillars. Its EC formulation controls a wide range of caterpillar pests, ensuring rapid and long-lasting control. After application, caterpillars quickly cease causing damage, as the insecticide disrupts their metamorphosis, preventing them from advancing to other damaging stages. Farmers should apply Proclaim XTRA between 30-60 days and 60-90 days after sowing soybean. For maize, they should spray it between 11-25 days and 26-60 days after sowing, maintaining a 15-day interval between two sprays. To further enhance its effectiveness, Crystal Crop Protection will provide training programmes to guide farmers on its correct and safe usage, the agrochemical company said in a press release.
