Erisha Agritech, a Rana Group company has appointed former captain of India’s cricket team, Sourav Ganguly as its new brand ambassador. The company has partnered with Sourav Ganguly to help promote its brand values, increase brand awareness, and drive growth, the agritech company announced today.

The appointment of Ganguly is part of Erisha Agritech’s efforts to expand its reach and establish a strong brand presence in the market. The company said that Ganguly’s deep-rooted connection with the people of India, his leadership qualities, and his passion for agriculture make him a perfect fit for Erisha Agritech.

Rana Group’s other startup, Darsh Aerospace focuses on defence production and related businesses, operating under the Rana Group of companies. Moreover, the startup has designed and developed drones, including agricultural drones for Erisha Agritech, a largely indigenous drone with a 10-litre spraying capacity. “It can spray 30 litres of pesticides in a single charge or provide a spray coverage of three acres in a single charge. The drone has features such as GNSS, autonomous light mode, return home, geo-fencing capability, and anti-collision capability, and can operate in temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius. With its advanced capabilities, the agri drone is poised to revolutionise the agriculture industry in India,” the agritech company claims.
