New Holland launches indigenously made ‘WORKMASTER 105’; 100+HP tractor, eyes forage and balling operations

Greater Noida: New Holland, a brand of CNH, has unveiled the first-ever Made-in-India 100+ HP TREM-IV tractor, the WORKMASTER 105. This launch marks a significant milestone for both the company and the Indian tractor industry, the company said.

“The WORKMASTER 105, equipped with a TREM-IV compliant engine, brings world-class technology, quality, and performance to Indian customers who demand the best. New Holland has already sold over 15,000 units of the WORKMASTER family in highly competitive and quality-conscious markets like North America,” the tractor manufacturer informed.

Speaking at the launch, Narinder Mittal, Country Manager & Managing Director, CNH India & SAARC said, “The WORKMASTER 105 sets a new benchmark for high horsepower tractors in India. We believe the time is right to introduce this advanced technology to discerning Indian customers and are proud to launch the first Made-in-India TREM-IV tractor in the 100+ HP category.”

“The WORKMASTER 105 features an advanced FPT engine delivering 106 HP, a 3,500 kg lift capacity, electro-hydraulic 4WD engagement, and an air-suspended seat with an adjustable backrest. Designed for unmatched performance, operator comfort, and safety, it is ideal for farmers with large landholdings who operate advanced equipment such as balers and forage harvesters and need a tractor capable of long hours and high productivity,” New Holland said.

The company is focussing on addressing the critical issue of crop residue management by providing baling solutions to combat stubble burning, which leads to severe pollution in North India during October and November each year. By implementing these advanced techniques, New Holland anticipates significant growth in the states of Punjab and Haryana, where stubble burning is a prevalent concern.

Priced at an introductory Rs. 29.5 lakhs (Ex-showroom, All India), the WORKMASTER 105 will be available at New Holland exclusive dealerships across India starting today. Financing will be available through CNH Capital and other banks and financial institutions.
