Truly Desi, VVF launch experience centre to let people explore regenerative and organic farming practices

Truly Desi, an A2 dairy startup has announced the launch of its first state-of-the-art experience centre in association with Vrindavan Vedic Farms near Pune. With a bio-diverse and organic ecosystem, the farm is located in the village of Jambhul in Maharashtra. Truly Desi aims to strengthen the economic perspective of farmers and rural communities in Maharashtra with this experience centre. The goal of the project is to let people explore regenerative and biodynamic organic farming practices aimed at creating a better future for the people and the planet.

Designed for people to get a first-hand experience of Truly Desi’s farm methods, the experience centre will display activities like the traditional ghee-making process, cow cuddling and feeding, and participation in farming activities like sowing, and harvesting, among other related activities. They will also have a meditation and agnihotra centre along with a fertiliser preparation centre where people will get a chance to witness how cow dung slurry-based organic fertilisers are prepared. Along with this, there will be a purchase stall where one can buy all their products on the spot. After the tour, one can also enjoy a farm fresh meal and relax in the farm atmosphere.

Speaking about the experience centre, Mohit Rathod & Rupali Kakade, Co-founders, of Truly Desi jointly said, “With our busy and stressful lives, finding the right and pure source of food on a day-to-day basis is an added task. People today need a genuine supply of organic food that they can trust and is easily available with just a few clicks. Our experience centre is a way of providing our consumers with the transparency they deserve and hope to bring a change in the whole agriculture sector.”

People nowadays find it difficult to trust the sources of organic and pure food as the availability of organic food is not easy. Hence, Truly Desi in association with Vrindavan Vedic Farms decided to create an ecosystem through this centre and provide an experience to the people. People can visit the farm and check its overall functioning which will in turn provide them with trust and transparency.
