Sonalika Tractors exports recorded a robust growth of 90 percent with sales of 2,082 tractors as compared to 1,095 units same period last year

International Tractors Limited (ITL), the makers of Sonalika and Solis tractors is fully geared up for the upcoming season. The company has registered an overall sales growth of 23.2 percent with 7,369 tractors in August 2018 as compared to 6,036 tractors same period last year.
Exports recorded a robust growth of 90 percent with sales of 2,082 tractors as compared to 1,095 units same period last year.
Commenting on the sales, Raman Mittal, Executive Director, Sonalika Group said, “We are delighted with the overall growth of 23.2 percent which was driven by phenomenal growth of 90 percent in exports. The growth in exports is resultant of our wide distribution network across different markets. All time high performance of Asia and Europe markets has helped to achieve this extraordinary growth”.
“In the domestic market, with the onset of festive season, we are optimistic that the industry should continue to grow at healthy pace, driven by positive farmers’ sentiments,” he added.
