India’s foodgrain production is estimated to be 316 million tonnes in 2021-22

According to Second Advance Estimates, India is estimated to produce 316.06 million tonnes of foodgrains in the year 2021-22 which is 5.32 million tonnes higher than the foodgrain production in the year 2020-21

The Department of Agriculture has released the second advance estimates of area and production of horticulture crops for the year 2017-18. These estimates are based on the information provided by the states and union territories
