Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards 2024

Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards invites nominations from outstanding works towards agricultural sustainability

India has committed to reaching net-zero emissions by 2070, and agriculture plays a significant role in achieving this goal. Agriculture is India’s third-largest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and contributes to emissions in four ways: land-use changes, agricultural activities, livestock, and food production. However, reducing agricultural emissions can also transform the way food is produced, distributed, and consumed.

To bring together the farmers, agriculture and food industry leaders, policymakers, scientists, academic institutions, technology providers, thought leaders, development organisations and other critical stakeholders in the agriculture ecosystem of India for deliberating on challenges in front of sustainability of agriculture, the country’s leading agriculture media platform Agriculture Post and IndiAgri are going to organise Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards 2024 in New Delhi on August 7, 2024.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Nurturing a Greener Tomorrow for Viksit Bharat.’ The Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the innovators, amplifying their best practices to inspire others toward a more sustainable world.

The Summit will address the pressing challenges to food and nutrition security by promoting sustainable farming practices for future readiness. GreyMatters Communications is the media and communications partner for the event.
