Maharashtra CM introduces Marut Drones AG365 to farmers to promote drone adoption under SMAM
By showcasing Marut's multi-utility AG365S drone to farmers, Maharashtra agriculture department is playing a key role in educating and training farmers on the benefits and applications of drone technology

The Government of Maharashtra in collaboration with Marut Drones introduced Marut’s AG365 drones to farmers of the Buldhana district recently. CM Eknath Shinde personally interacted with the beneficiaries and encouraged them to spread awareness about the use of drones in farming to promote technological advancements in agriculture.

Marut’s AG365S drone has already become a point of attraction for farmers in Buldhana under the Sub-mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India. This could potentially lead to improved agricultural practices, increased productivity, and enhanced crop management for the farmers in Buldhana.

With an aim to promote and strengthen agricultural mechanisation, SMAM scheme is a crucial initiative for modernising agriculture across India. It is being implemented in all Indian states to support farmers and enhance agricultural practices nationwide.

By showcasing Marut’s multi-utility Marut Drones AG365 to farmers as part of this scheme, the Maharashtra agriculture department is playing a key role in educating and training farmers on the benefits and applications of drone technology in agriculture. This can lead to more efficient and sustainable agricultural practices, ultimately benefiting the farming community and the agricultural sector, the drone company said.

On this occasion, Prem Kumar Vislawath, CEO of Marut Drones said, “Marut’s technology is reaching remote districts to resolve the crisis afflicting the farming community.
