Global organic rice market to grow a CAGR 2.8% till 2025

The global organic rice market was valued at US$ 1,120 million in 2017 and will reach US$ 1,390 million by the end of 2025, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.8 percent during 2018-2025, a study released by ReportsWeb.com has analysed recently.
Organic farming is defined as a production system which largely excludes or avoids the use of fertilisers, pesticides, growth regulators, preservatives and livestock feed additives and totally rely on crop residues, animal manures, legumes, green manures, off-farm wastes, mechanical cultivation, mineral nutrient bearing rocks and biological pest control to maintain soil health, supply plant nutrients and minimise insects, weeds and other pests.
The organic rice industry concentration is not high; there are more than one hundreds manufacturers in the world, and high-end products mainly from America.  In China, the manufacturers focus in Heilongjiang and Hunan province.
Many company have several farms. They can also sign contract to other regions small or family farm to produce organic rice.
Third, all manufactures in the world are committed to the improvement of product. Developed countries deep processing products is relatively mature, like organic rice milk, protein and ready meal products. Developing regions take more directly eating of organic rice.
